Today I'm finally sharing the video I've been talking about for weeks, all about how I spent just $275 on my entire wedding look. I am going into detail on the website I got my dress from, my thoughts on the quality, my affordable wedding jewelry, and shoes. Also sharing a few photos we received so far from the wedding day!

Call me crazy, but I ordered the first wedding dress I picked out online and didn't even have to return it. Some say I got lucky, but I honestly knew exactly what I wanted and went straight for the dress that caught my eye when I was browsing Google. I came across JJ's House, an online store with a wide variety of affordable wedding dresses, custom sizing, bridesmaids dress, and more formalwear.

I fell in love with the A-Line V-neck Court Train Chiffon Wedding Dress in Ivory because it was simple, elegant, and had the vintage bridal look I was going for. The intricate lace detailing looks so high end, and I was impressed with the quality for the price. The plunge V-neck and A'Line cut is flattering for any body type, and was comfortable to wear. I also really loved the open back, and button detailing up the zipper.

I decided to not order a custom size, because I wanted the option to return it if I didn't like the dress. I measured, re-measured, and measured some more until I settled on a regular size 10. I normally wear a 6 or 8 in dresses, but my measurements for this dress came out to a 10. I probably could have done a 9, however it worked out fine.

I did get my dress altered separately, because the straps were a bit long on me and I wanted them to fit more sung, so I wouldn't have to risk them falling down when leaning over. However, I am very short waisted and have this trouble with regular bras, camis, and tank tops. If you have an averaged size torso, you likely will not have any issues with the straps. I also had the center sewn in just a bit to cover a bit of the lower cleavage. I had the bottom hemmed because I am only 5'3", so there was some extra length.

For accessories, I paired the dress with gold metals and champagne colored jewels. Again, they were all super affordable and were less than $50 combined.
